-Company leaders Chairman Hou Yi, CEO Fu Bo delegated a group to visit Toppan Printing Co. Ltd. and Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd.


On 27 December, in Tokyo, Japan, when it was drizzling, the lights were on. At the coming of New Year, for deepening business communication with Japan strategic partner as well as summarizing and forecasting the finished aluminum laminated film merger and acquisition project this year and negotiating new cooperative projects, Chairman Hou Yi, CEO Fu Bo, Vice President Fu Jialin, Vice President Xiao Peng and Strategic and investment center manager Li Yuhua, Selen Science &Technology Japan Co., Ltd. President Tian Jiale and others, all seven people visited Toppan Printing Co. Ltd. and headquarters of Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. for communication and projects negotiation.

In the headquarters building of Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. which is not far from Tokyo harbor, President Nakai expressed warm welcome to Chairman Hou, President Fu and other staff in Chinese. Mr Nakai gave a detailed introduction about Tokyo Seikan’s development and its status quo. Toyo Seikan was established in 1917. The next year will be its100th anniversary of establishment. Businesses of Toyo Seikan spread over 10 countries all over the globe. It has built many factories in China and its revenue of this year has reached over 5 billion RMB which ranks seven in global packaging enterprises. President Nakai led the guests to visit the company’s exhibition hall in which is a feast for eyes and displays all kinds of products closely related to people's life, including plastics, metal, glass, paper and other materials which are made for packaging containers of food, consumer goods and medical products, accounting for a huge consumption of products in the world. Precision mold products in our company have a great connection with businesses of Toyo Seikan. Thereafter, both sides had in-depth discussion and communication about multiple levels cooperation of projects and businesses.

After leaving Toyo Seikan, Chairman Hou, CEO Fu and others arrived at headquarters of Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. which is a Fortune Global 500 enterprise as well. Toppan Printing was founded in 1900 and has more than 10000 staff with sales over 10 billion RMB. President Kaneko of Toppan Printing and Chairman Hou and CEO Fu had in-depth exchange of views. President Kaneko spoke highly of the aluminum laminated film project of both sides this year and expressed to make joint efforts so as to achieve good economic benefits and social benefits of the projects. He still expressed that Toppan printing is willing to cooperate with Selen Science & Technology in other aspects except the aluminum laminated film project, so both sides can develop markets together.

In this meeting, related officials of Selen Science & Technology Japan Co., Ltd. and Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. gave a report about current cooperation situation. With joint efforts of both sides, locating in the factory of Mie Prefecture, Tokyo, Japan, production and management keeps stable since the delivery in April, 2016. The capacity utilization has increased steadily and the products have successfully entered China mainstream power lithium battery manufacturers. It has achieved a great breakthrough in power lithium battery field. In the meantime, the second stage of extension project has started successfully which is predicted to be put into operation at the end of 2017.

Leaders from both sides have given fully affirmation of the progress of aluminum laminated film project. Besides, for related products in Chinese market, customers and rivals situations, construction of industrial chain, cooperated idea and proposal solution and other contents, both sides have communicated with each other. On this foundation, both sides have agreed that the next step will be in-depth discussion of specific issues of more project cooperation.
