On the afternoon of April 19th, Mr. Yan Li, Secretary of Changzhou Municipal, met with Mr. Hou Yi, Chairman of the Board of Shenzhen Selen Science & Technology and his group, and representatives of Toppan Printing Co., Ltd.. Deeper talks about Changzhou project development have been conducted.
Mr. Yan Li indicates: Chanzhou and Shenzhen Selen Science & Technology have good cooperation foundation. The newly invested new energy new material project of Selen Science & Technology has been listed as municipal key project. It is hoped that both sides can continuously exert its advantages and enhance new material cooperation especially in electronic functional material field. Changzhou side will fully support promotion of the project and look forward to early putting into operation and early taking effect.
Selen Science & Technology was settled in Changzhou west Taihu lake, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary company named Selen Science & Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.. The first stage project has been built up while photoelectron and electronic components functional materials are produced in Changzhou. In April this year, Selen Science & Technology will invest a total of 550 million RMB to purchase Toppan Printing Co., Ltd.’s T&T which engages in production, manufacturing and sales of lithium-ion battery aluminum laminated composite film packaging materials. This time two companies came and visited Changzhou for its investments environment and accelerated takeover project so that Selen Science &Technology Changzhou base can settle as soon as possible and initial the second stage construction in this year.
So far, Selen Science & Technology has set up Selen Science & Technology Composite Material (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. Which works on lithium battery laminated film material and R&D, production and sales of its derivative product. Japan Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. is one of the most famous printing groups as well as a Fortune Global 500 enterprise. Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. has 175 subsidiaries and the annual sales reach about 16 billion RMB. During the meeting, both sides hoped that more cooperation projects can settle in Changzhou.
Mr. Yan Li also met with senior executives of Japan Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. and explored opportunities for multilateral cooperation. Mr. Zhang Yaogang deputy mayor of Changzhou city and main leaders of Wujin district attended the meeting.
